• Call patients two days prior to the Appointment to remind them of the Appointment Day and time. Proceed with confirmation or re-scheduling.
• Coordinate the Appointment list of patients for the labs.
• Once patient is at the Appointment, assure patient information is accurate, verify Doctor's order and proceed to mark as "Kept".
• Collection of blood and urine sample as indicated by doctors.
• Once collected, label samples and prepare collections for pick-up (Quest/LabCorp).
• Configuration and adjustment of lab equipment as needed.
• Keep Logs for: Eyewash, refrigerators, and PT/INR.
• HEDIS Measures.
• Look for results in the Lab website when lab results do not come in automatically.
• Place lab orders monthly.
• Conduct weekly inspections to assure there are no expired supplies.
• Run the No-Show report and re-schedule patients as needed.Experience/Qualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant Phlebotomist
  • Specimen processing
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
