Bayview Asset Management, LLC (Bayview) is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including whole loans, asset backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets.
The ideal Licensing Coordinator will provide support to the Licensing Supervisor and VP of Compliance in a variety of functions specifically relating to the Companys legal compliance and licensing business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, complete, file and monitor regulatory and compliance documents, including licensing renewals relating to the Companys businesses for which licenses are required.
  • Under the direction of the Licensing Supervisor and/or VP of Compliance, coordinate, complete, and monitor government agency approvals, including renewal of approvals relating to the Companys businesses for which approvals are required.
  • Under the direction of the Licensing Supervisor and/or VP of Compliance, resolve compliance, licensing and corporate jurisdictional business issues.
  • Prepare, file and monitor licensing documents and filings of new licenses and renewals for the Company.
  • Prepare license applications and gather required supporting documents and signatures.
  • Prepare and file required reports to state regulators.
  • Assist in resolving licensing issues as they arise.
  • Assist mortgage loan originators (MLO) in completing and filing all required documents for licensing.
  • Assist and prepare required filings to governmental regulatory authorities as they arise.
  • Acts as liaison with branch offices regarding licensing issues.
  • Special Projects as assigned by the Licensing Supervisor and VP of Compliance.
  • Maintains filing system for the Compliance Department.Job Requirements:

    • Must have the ability to deal with sensitive business information in a confidential and professional manner.
    • Must have the ability to handle regulatory filings and records retention.
    • Must have the ability to analyze information relating to the position.
    • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, including the ability to prioritize workload to meet critical deadlines.
    • Must be able to comprehend internal systems and approvals and have the ability to move things through.
    • Must have the ability to work independently and in a team setting in a fast paced environment and the ability to deal with complex situations with ease.
    • Must have solid organizational skills and high attention to detail with knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices.
    • Must have the ability to carry out pre-established guidelines and instructions to perform functions of the position.
    • Must have strong intrapersonal skills and above average verbal and written communication skills coupled with proofreading skills, attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
    • Must have advanced knowledge of computing skills as well as competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet software.
    • Performs related work as assigned by department head.Education/Experience Requirements:
      Must have an Associates Degree or its equivalent of 5 plus years of experience in the field with practical experience related to the area of governmental and regulatory compliance matters in finance, mortgage banking and general corporate matters.
