He or she is responsible for administrating the human resources policies, procedures, and programs that are applied in an organization.Some of the responsibilities include recruitment, departmental development, employee relations, training and development, and health benefits, retirement plans, employment and so many others. Support operating units by implementing human resources programs; solving performance problemsEssential Job FunctionsResponsible for performing recruiting-related duties for all warehouse hourly team membersResponsible to ensure the hiring process leads to positive outcomes for new team members such as higher job satisfaction, better job performance, and commitmentAdvertise job openings on companys careers page, social media, job boards and internallyPartner closely with department leaders to understand priorities and needs for each department and provides consistent and speedy updates on open roles, showing a high sense of urgencyParticipate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment eventsConduct on-site candidate interviewsFacilitate the on-boarding process including new hire OrientationImplements human resources programs by providing human resources services, employment processing, health and welfare benefits, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations; completing personnel transactions.Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizationsEnhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Job SpecificationsGeneral:Bachelors Degree or a minimum of 4 (four) years strong administrative experience, with exposure to human resources proceduresBilingual (English/Spanish)Skills & Abilities:ADP Payroll administration experience preferred (e-Time & WFN)Prior experience recruiting for high volume hourly roles is strongly preferredPerformance Management Training ManagementMaintaining Employee FilesPeople SkillsResolves ConflictEmployment LawProject ManagementOffice ExperienceExcellent verbal & written communication skillsExcellent inter-personal skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesAbility to maintain and organize records and documentationCommitment to confidentialityProficient in Microsoft SuiteWork Conditions and Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to:Walk, sitUse hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;Reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Powered by JazzHR
