Job Description:
A marketing and advertising firm has a current position open for
a Remote Mid Level Data Scientist. Candidates will be responsible
for the following: Creating new, experimental frameworks to collect
data Assisting in building tools/APIs to automate data collection
Searching through large data sets for usable information Applicants
must meet the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or
higher) in computer science, math, software engineering,
statistics, data science or a related technical field Have attended
an accelerated data science bootcamp or is self-taught (with a
portfolio of projects to prove their skills) Fluent in at least one
object-oriented programming language, with preference for Python,
R, Java or Scala 4-5 years of experience in statistical analysis,
quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics and
optimization algorithms Experience in trade promotion analytics,
coupon management and display effectiveness
