• The APRN is an expert in patient care who provides quality care, performs patient assessments, and takes a thorough medical history.
• Works closely with Primary Care Physician in managing the care of patients via face-to-face.
• Sees walk in patients and educates patients and their family regarding diagnosis and plan of care.
• Assists Primary Care Physicians with patient case load.
• Perform medication inventory as needed.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications.
• In charge of diagnosing the cause of pain.
• Evaluation and coordination of pain treatments.
• Complementary therapies.
• Ongoing care dedicated to relieving symptoms.
• Performs evaluation to offer a mix of medication-based treatments and procedures.
• Discuss with patients potential therapies and treatments that can help.
• Coordinates care. - Experience/Qualifications: -
  • Experience working in a Medical Center setting with geriatric patient population.
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Patience and pleasant demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills.
