Located in Hialeah, FL

Seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist with Cardiac training.

- Call: Call is in-house with post day call off:
Monday-Friday: in-house 12:00PM-7:00AM-once a week
- Saturday or Sunday- 24 hour shifts-once a month
- In addition to general call, the cardiac anesthesiologists provide cardiac beeper call- 1:3 (in frequent call back)
- 10 MD/ 23 CRNA Anesthesia Care Team Model
- 7,000 surgical cases. 2-3 open heart cases a day and 4-5 structural hearts a day
- Types of Cases Include: General, OB (CRNA are in-house 24 hours a day doing OB) approximately 2000 deliveries (40% C-section rate), Endo, Neuro, Eyes, ENT, a lot of vascular, a lot of thoracic, outpatient, regional & ortho, podiatry, busy bariatrics and oncology surgery program, GYN, GU, plastics, IR, cardiac

Cardiac Anesthesiologists do their own cardiac cases. General cases are medically directed
The hospital has 2 full-time cardiothoracic surgeons and 1 cardiac thoracic surgeon that is share with Florida Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They also have 2 invasive cardiologists doing structural hearts
- Cardiac Cases: Open Heart: CABG, values either open or with minimal access. Structural hearts: TAVR, mitral clips, Watchman procedures
