The Project Manager will plan and supervise Commercial Construction Projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinating with a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. Client DetailsOur client is a well established General Contractor in Miami-Dade County that focuses on Commercial Construction (Ground up and Renovation) Description

• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors to reach profitable agreements and handle all buyout
• Process pay applications and ensure timely delivery
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan and schedule all construction operations to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Work with field staff to ensure schedule is being metProfile
  • 4 year construction related degree (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, etc)
  • 8 + years of Commercial Construction Experience as a Project Manager
  • Experience with (Document Control, Submittals and Shop Drawings)
  • Strong experience with ProCore or similar software
  • OSHA 30 (Preferred)
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
