Job DescriptionWe have partnered with a wonderful nonprofit organization that is looking for an experienced Office Manager to join their team for an amazing opportunity. This position is located in Miami, Florida. The Office Manager will be responsible for managing and leading a new national service program. This new national service program places full-time focus on distressed and underserved communities by providing financial literacy, financial planning, budgeting, saving, and other financial counseling education to the community.This program is designed to support the organizations mission to deliver financial education to low- & moderate-income residents.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure smooth flow of work processes at the office. This includes identifying inefficient, inconsistent, or undefined processes; establishing improved workflows; and getting employee buy in and participation in change.
  • Serve as office receptionist: answer phones and welcome guests.
  • Manage electronic and physical filing systems. Maintain/purge files according to company policy.
  • Coordinate company events (lunches, bus tours, etc.). Manage event budgets.
  • Oversee company subscriptions, memberships, and sponsorships, including scheduling attendees at sponsored events.
  • Coordinate bimonthly board meetings; compile and distribute board packets REQUIRMENTS:
    • Minimum of three years Office Management experience required.
    • Nonprofit experience preferred.
    • Prior grant compliance and accounting experience preferred.
    • Highly self-motivated individual who can work independently with little or no supervision and who can work also as a productive team member
    • Acquire and/or maintain Notary Public designation and capabilities.
    • Ability to work with customers, partners, and staff of diversified backgrounds with a positive, optimistic, goal-oriented attitude.
