We specialize in retail and deli sales to retailers in all formats, from Costco, Walmart, high end premium stores to convenience stores in the Caribbean, Latin America and Asia. We want candidates who are hungry for growth.The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving growth revenue with strategic accounts through new programs, new partnerships, and new products for the business. The ideal candidate will have impeccable relational skills and can empathize with customer situations and help navigate through a solution.The right candidate with also have an insatiable drive, tenacity and hunger for new business and to drive initiatives forward. They will have an old soul that values deep relationships and fosters true 'ride or die' partnerships with customers. Communication is key and having empathy to anticipate customer needs, issues and challenges.Responsibilities* Own relationships with our strategic clients* Ensure satisfaction of all assigned clients* Proactive communication with clients on orders, changes and projects* Building a close relationship with buyers and levels of leadership while also being able to read the room where a professional approach is called for.* This role will successfully achieve new business quota and maintain current business* Responsible to implement the '100 days' with every new client to ensure intense focus on customer success, relationship and trust during that period, with a 'do what it takes' attitude* Responsible for driving growth of new business in assigned regions and channels* Identifying new opportunities for business in untapped regions and industry niches* Building relationships with key contacts in accounts, trade organizations, trade shows, retail chains, hotels and foreign government organizations who foster US investment* Operate independently in the field and also as a team player within a wider fulfillment team in the company to ensure business runs smoothly and the full account team is informed.* Pipeline management and forecasting of opportunities in region and within accounts in our CRM* Identifying opportunities and needs for brand development, marketing and promotions within local markets to push forward growth of sales* Reporting up to senior Sales and company leadership on the success of the regions and bringing plans for expansionQualifications* Entrepreneurial Mindset (Problem solver with drive and initiative)* Experience in key account management with multi-national retail chains and a proven track record of consistently exceeding quota* Experience opening and building new accounts in the food industry* Experience closing multiple 6-figure and 7-figure deals* Experience in the Export industry* Comfortable with Technology & Microsoft office (Very comfortable with Excel)* Experience in customer success and customer service* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Bilingual in Spanish and English* Detail oriented and analytical* Demonstrated ability to increase customer relationship* Business degree, MBA a plusBenefits* Dental, vision, health insurance after 3 months probation period* International travel* Mileage allowance for US travel* Company iPhone* Laptop* Sales SPIFFs and incentives* Paid PTO* Paid Maternity leave* Monthly Food Box from the companyEmployment TypeFull-time
