Job Description Job Description Job Overview Responsible for the
overall installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of
heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR)
systems across our commercial property. This role requires
expert-level troubleshooting abilities and strict adherence to all
safety regulations and environmental codes. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on
all HVACR equipment, including cleaning coils, replacing filters,
lubricating parts, and checking fluid levels. Diagnose complex
mechanical and electrical faults using specialized testing
equipment (e.g., multimeters, leak detectors). Execute timely and
efficient repair of faulty components such as compressors, motors,
thermostats, humidifiers, and pneumatic controls. Conduct
refrigerant recovery, recycling, and charging procedures in
compliance with EPA regulations (Section 608). Read and interpret
blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for system layout and
wiring. Test newly installed or repaired systems to ensure optimal
performance, efficiency, and compliance. Perform brazing,
soldering, and pipefitting as needed for system installation and
repair. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance
work, repairs performed, and parts used within the Computerized
Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Communicate effectively with
supervisors and facilities managers regarding repair status,
necessary parts orders, and potential system issues. Adhere
strictly to all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout
(LOTO) procedures, and wear appropriate Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE). Manage and organize service vehicles, inventory,
and tools efficiently. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of
documented experience as a HVACR Service Technician, preferably in
a commercial or industrial environment. Certification: EPA Section
608 Universal Certification (Type I, II, and Ill) required.
License: Valid state-issued Driver's License. Technical Skills:
Proven expertise in electrical troubleshooting (up to 480V),
refrigeration cycles, humidity control, and commercial
boiler/chiller systems. High school diploma. Strong customer
service orientation required. Must be able to work effectively with
peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel. Strong
computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft
Office Products. Strong written and oral communication skills are
required. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of
situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram, or schedule form. Vocational or Technical School
Certification in HVACR Technology is preferred. Experience with
Building Automation Systems (BAS) and digital controls (e.g.,
Trane, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell) is preferred.
Proficiency with mobile maintenance applications (CM MS/Work Order
Systems) is preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment The

associated with travelling between buildings and back and forth to
other areas as may be required due to business demands. The
employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to
resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff
members. The noise level in the work environment varies from light
to moderate. Licenses, Certifications, Registration: Requires a
Professional Occupational License. Scheduled Shift: Tuesday through
Saturday 8am - 4pm
