JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for running the daily transactional queries and reports that support the day to day operations of the electric supply group; supporting the electric supply team in its efforts to reconcile all outgoing customer transactional data with information coming in from both utilities and ISO's.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

?Create, review and submit (to the ISO) the daily electric forecast/schedules which reflects the projected amount of energy to be consumed by our customers at the hourly level.

?Create and review the daily operational reports such as customer counts, usage values, pricing ranges, energy costs, etc?

?Review invoice summaries provided by utilities, checking for any outliers that may vary from our records by certain degree.

?Keep pertinent utility, ISO and customer information up to date (tariffs, load profiles, taxes information, meter read schedules, transmission loss factors, purchase of receivable discounts, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

?Bachelor's degree in related field or a minimum of 2 years database experience as defined below.

?Experience with Microsoft Office (preferably advanced Excel and Access Skills).

?Understanding of relational database objects and the ability to develop simple queries.

?Ability to understand and apply business logic for validation of underlying data and results.

?Experience with SQL and/or other comparable database language.

?Strong analytical/quantitative skills; such as the ability to see trends analyze statistics.

?Microsoft Excel, Access and database querying a plus.
