Job Summary/Objective:To maintain and execute a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries and bank reconciliations. Assist with the preparation of monthly financial analysis reports and performing accounting research as assigned.Essential Job FunctionsPrepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.Perform treasury and cash application functions.Maintaining and reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts.Develops spreadsheet reports.Provide accounting support by performing research into accounting/financial transactions and analyzing information.Preparation and delivery of audit requests and supporting documentationPerform numerous tasks as assigned by SupervisorRequired Education and ExperiencePreferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceAt least two years of accounting experienceUnderstanding of GAAPStrong communication skills both written and verbalHigh proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to work efficiently with attention to detailAAP/EEO StatementIn order to provide equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals, employment decisions at SFENTA will be based on qualifications and job related abilities.
